Description

The South African Police Service invites unemployed graduates to apply for the Graduate Recruitment Scheme under the Corporate Support Component. This 12-month internship offers workplace experience in the Service Delivery Improvement section to contribute towards the National Human Resource Development Strategy and the National Skills Development Strategy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and implementation of the Service Delivery Improvement Programme (SDIP)
• Analyse and interpret key government policies and information related to service delivery improvement
• Co-ordinate the integration of service delivery improvement initiatives into SAPS strategic management processes
• Provide administrative support in the development, facilitation, implementation, and monitoring of service delivery improvement plans across SAPS
• Support the section through learning networks and best practices in implementing the Service Delivery Improvement Programme (SDIP)

Qualifications

• Be a South African citizen
• Possess a National Senior Certificate (or equivalent NCV L4)
• No criminal convictions or pending cases
• Unemployed, never employed in the field of the post, and never participated in an internship programme relevant to the field
• Reside in the province where the post is advertised
• Hold a three (3) year National Diploma/Degree in one of the following fields (recorded on the NLRD at NQF level 6 or higher):Public Management, Public Administration, Information Science, Management Resource Management, Business and Information Services, Information Management, Strategic Management, Policing, or a relevant qualification in the field of the post
